bawark,

Check the SONOS FAQ's for iTunes Playlists.

Default playlist issue

I have over 20 playlists off itunes that synch with the sonos and work well. I know how to do that. The issue is with one single playlist only

bawark,

Most likely, the new playlist is not being stored inside the music shares that SONOS works with.

the titles are in sonos by themselves and fully playable and this one playlist is exactly the same as every other playlist so why should there be any difference

Going back to basics:

Is your iTunes Music Library.xml file saved in a path that is shared?

Is Sonos indexing that share?

How many tracks are in the new playlist? It may be you've hit an upper limit.

Default still a problem

Is your iTunes Music Library.xml file saved in a path that is shared?
Yes & working well with all other itune music, playlists etc

Is Sonos indexing that share?
Yes

How many tracks are in the new playlist?
about 20 tracks. I have tried deleting other playlists but that doesnt help. The tracks that are in the playlist I want are being indexed properly and can be found via album, artist etc

It may be you've hit an upper limit.

Your best bet would be to give tech support a quick call, they'll be able to look at your system and see what is/isn't indexed.

Remember that you need to close iTunes for your playlists to save back to the library xml file.

Incidentally, what is your playlist called? Maybe you hit upon a reserved name...

Question Similar problem - incomplete playlist

I am having a similar problem however my problem is that my playlists seem to be updating but they are incomplete. I can't find an explanation as to why only part of a playlist should transfer.
