Default Waf

She's back using the system again! Won't admit much of a rise in WAF but I can detect it!

Default Thank You and Goodnight

Having kicked this thread off, and having spent the last two insominiac nights happily listenting to Radio 4, may I add to the chorus of praise...

Thanks Sonos for thsi fix, and the rest of the 2.5 stuff. I also work in the software industry, and therefore empathise with the design testing and release problems that you must have had. It's great, and it makes being a Sonos ambassador even easier.

Question Drop Outs Again

Am I the only one who's had some drop outs again on BBC Radio 4? I'm not sure if it's the BBC, the BT line or Sonos? On one occasion I went to radio 3 and it occurred there - unlike the earlier problems that seemed only to occur with spoken word.

Thumbs down

Well we might be able to listen to the bbc radio staions but its very poor quality!!!.
I dont buy a nearly £700 sonos setup to listen to bad quality like that.
Wether it's Sonos fault or the BBC this system should not be sold with such claims when it clearly can't deliver!!

Almost a case for the trades description act?

Already have part of my Sonos on ebay

Quite frankly it would surprise me if anyone was so dumb as to pay £700 for a high-quality digital music system like Sonos purely to stream BBC radio. If that was crucial to the setup, then a £50 DAB receiver could easily be added to the setup to improve the sound quality of BBC stations.

It is a shame that the BBC streaming quality is so poor, but it's poor on all systems, not just Sonos. There's nothing Sonos can do about it.

The day Sonos advertises its products as a way of streaming high-quality audio content from the BBC, is the day I'll apologise for calling you an idiot!

Anyone having a problem with Radio 2? Radio 1 seems OK. But Radio 2 keeps stopping and starting.

I've done the upgrade to 2.5...

The stop/start isn't the same as before, it seems to be more like there isn't enough bandwith. But not sure why this should only affect Radio 2.

Anyone?

Cheers
Roger

Default HArdly dare re-open this, but has anyone else noticed...

that reception of BBC 2, 3 and 4 is troubled again? It is all fine for about 20 minutes, and then starts breaking up badly. It doesn't appear to affect the World Service, nor any other stations.

Maybe its just me?
