Count me in for this.
I would love to add a couple iHeartRadio stations to my favorites. Currently there's a whole lot of clicking and scrolling to get down to iHeartRadio/All Cities/NY/Power 105.1 for example. I would vote this as much more important than an iPad app or Spotify integration (even though those are important too). |

+1 for configurable favorites. The sonos iphone/ipad app could even launch to that screen and have 8/10 'blocks' on the screen much like the windows 7 phone. And we should be able to configure which Pandora/iheartradio/napster/rhapsody channel goes into what block, name them as we wish and set the order in which they appear.

I want to sort the menue-Iterms by myself - like in a playlist (drag & drop).
I'm left-hander , so I want to configure, where the letters (abc) f.e. in "album" to make a quick-jump hve to be: always on the right side or on the left side. Now, when I tap with the left finger, I don't see the letter well on the right side.

Hello,
Anyone who uses a web browser is very familiar with the on/off toggles that are often seen in the "View" menu - here is an example: https://www.virginmedia.com/images/i...nu_270x237.jpg Basically, there are a number of interface elements that you can turn on or off ... maybe you don't need to see the "links" list, or the "standard buttons" or whatever. The point is, if there are interface elements you never use, you can remove them from the browser. So, I encounter this problem a lot with the Sonos system. My music library consists entirely of WAV files with no metadata in them. This means that all of the "normal" sonos library functions, like "artist" "title" "album" are completely useless. But, of course, that is what everyone immediately tries to use ... so in addition to the normal "here is how you use the music system..." speech that I am sure you are all accustomed to, I have an additional five minutes where I need to explain "just ignore all of that stuff about playlists and artists and whatever, and just choose "Folders". And then of course, they forget and keep trying to look under "artists" .... bah. So this is a simple fix - you just give us a list of these elements in a view menu, and let us checkbox them on or off. Easy. The obvious response: do we really need to add this option for "that one guy who has all the WAV files" and I would like to point out that in addition to people that have files without metadata, there are a LOT of mp3 files floating around with badly broken metadata, no metadata at all, or people who have altered their own file naming, or metadata conventions so that it just doesn't do what you (sonos) expects it to do with the "artist" menu ... or the "album" menu ... and I think there is a LOT of end user (non technical, wife, etc.) confusion that could be removed if you gave people the power to disable the view functions that are superfluous in their particular sonos system. Comments ? |

Good idea. We can already turn the display of Contributing Artist on or off. Why not add other tags.

Having a way to move favorites or playlists into separate folders would be a great start. We just got this yesterday, and my wife and I are very disappointed that there is no way to organize music better

Make home screen customizable, so I can easily switch between my two or three most used screens.
In my case the most used would be -radio - favourites -library - search by artist But since everybody will have different preferences, just make part of the screen customizable. |

Like most others are saying a "favorite" should be any music source...a playlist from your library, internet radio station, music service, etc.
To be honest, I am surprised that this is not already a feature! |
