I would go even further and propose a fully personalized favorites menu - let me add directories and radio stations to a single favorite list. And let's have a personal favorites menu for everyone in the household.

First of, if it is more than 2 taps to get a favorite playing, why even have a favorites? Second, why limit it to internet radio?
Give us the ability to add ANYTHING as a favorite, Howard Stern on Sirius, My Friday night playlist, my Eagles Pandora station or the new song I downloaded on itunes.
Either add a press and hold so after 2 seconds it just adds it to the favorites list, or put a small heart icon in the corner of each station or playlist graphic that adds it to the favorites.

When I want to adjust the eq levels for my ZP, it takes about 5 clicks! This would be something that I would also add to my folder list if it was available.

As a temporary measure which may help I tend to edit the default name of my favourite radio stations so that they include a number at the front. In that way your favourites appear at the top before the alphabetical list starts.

Unfortunately one can only do this with manually created favourites, not RadioTime stations.
