Default Network signal strength

I have a setup running over two floors of my house. Signal isn't great everywhere, would adding a second bridge upstairs help or even work come to think of it!?

It could assist you.... depending on where the other devices are placed, and what sort of materials and distances we are talking.

However, if you can wire at least one of the devices on the second floor, that will likely help as well.

A Bridge can help with Sonosnet signal strength, which includes players, CR200 controllers, and Androids whcih are connected to Sonosnet. If you are using the iDevice controller, or an Addroid connected to standard WiFi; they cannot connect to Sonosnet, so any signal problems with these are due to your standard WiFi network.

If you can wire the upstairs Bridge it should definitely help the upstairs Sonos players.

If it can't be wired, try and place it roughly halfway between the first Bridge and the upstairs players.
