will check... but the live box is used as modem only, always has been. The "old" set up with live box & belkin router works excellent. Even with the bridge put in between my wireless works perfect. But unfortunately my wireless devices can't seem to connect to the bridge nor the player ...but that was clear already...

Okay, never mind. If there's only one WiFi signal (the Belkin's) that's the key point.

Hi,
we are getting close! The set up you suggested looks more promising since my wireless devices can now connect to the bridge. However, now the player can not connect anymore ??? So the bridge is found and is connected but when i want to add the player, he detects it but can't connect. Firewall I have put on "off" in Mcafee, but does not help.... |

Your player most probably still thinks it's on the Livebox's subnet. Restart the player by powering it off and on again. It will then join the Belkin's subnet.
I still don't understand why you have two routers ... |
