tmuser I think you mean PlaysForSure as FairPlay was Apple's DRM (which was never supported). The ability to use Windows Media Server was a workaround to DRM designed to prevent playback from unauthorized devices.

Seem to have lost the ability to list my Napster Library by artist in the new version and also doesn't list all the albums by artists as it used to. Would welcome your comments.

Anyone consider upgrading to v3.6, and who has a S5 (PLAY:5), should read this thread first:

Can I add a me too regarding not being able to view Artists. Strangely when I look at Napster via the web interface this is the one view that is available.
A long list of albums without artist info is not so good. Ken |

Thanks Clay - but I was only quoting from the email response I got from the Sonos Support representative! Looks like he got mixed up. Anyway, the end result is fine. I've updated and it all works. However, I've just spotted the issue around Play:5s; I'll have to go and check that out. I have one stand-alone and two as a stereo pair, so I might have something to contribute...

Is it correct that there are no Sonos Labs features available in the Netherlands at the moment or do i have to do something to enable it?? I See the option in the menu, but no new music services.
Thanks! |

Hi guys,
I work in a shop which stocks Sonos S5s as one of our products. After applying the 3.6 software update, Spotify is now coming up with an "unable to browse music" error on the Sonos box - and as such will not search for music - despite being able to stream it from a Sonos playlist. I know my Spotify a/c details are correct (and yes, it is a premium account). I have reset and updated the desktop controller software as well as the Sonos system itself, as well as power-cycling and flushing the DNS cache of my router. I'm totally stuck with what to do next! |

For CharlieNewey - Submit a diagnostic to me via PM please. https://sonos.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/s...hp?p_faqid=142
For those with Napster "My Artists" - This was an issue that was caused by an outage and should now be resolved, please let me know if you still experience the fault.
