I would also really like to be able to have multiple LFM accounts for use with my Sonos system, or at the very least the capability to specify which zones do, and which do not scrobble.

I currently handle the problem via training. Meaning that I have shown my wife how to play music in her office with Winamp, but we haven't moved forward to cover the desktop controller yet

Plus 1 from me, this would be really useful, especially with Last.fm accounts.

It would also be nice if different controllers could save their local settings so my wifes phone remembered her settings, and my phone remembered mine.

This would be really useful even with the Music Library... Some music is not necessarily suitable for the kids and it would be good to ensure that if they are listening alone they are not able to play these albums/songs.

On top of that it would also be useful to set up blacklists for certain zones. Ie. I might want to stop certain albums/songs from being played in the kids bedroom. Songs that are accessible from the rest of the house.

Thumbs down

My girlfriend and myself each have our own Spotify accounts, yet there is no easy way for us to switch accounts without re-configuring the whole system. Yes we can share play lists, but its really not the same as being in control of your own music.

Please Sonos, could you investigate how to integrate more than one Spotify account it is becoming a real bind.

Great idea. I would love to buy my teen daughter an S5 for her room. I would like to restrict my two outside zones so that she doesn't blast Lady Gaga at the neighbors at midnight.

Lightbulb Multiple users/libraries

I have a Sonos system and it has always annoyed me that Sonos does not have a "user" term.
All music is just one big library.

I have a wife and two kids.

The kids have their own zones in their rooms and it makes no sense that they have to browse through all mine or my wife's music.
They have their own iPod/iPhone's which basically identify them as two individual users.

My wife and I have each an iPhone and an iPad but we also have a CR-200 and I use PC/Mac software also.
I don't want to look at my wife's songs and she doesn't care for mine either.
The iPhones and PC's identify us. The iPad's might not as they can be wall mounted all over the house. So there should be a way to switch between users and see their libraries. Libraries should also be groupable just like zones are.

Some problem with the Spotify account. When they fix their star system it would be nice to have your own Spotify account per user in the house so all is not mixed up again.

Thanks

Default Spotify Profiles in the Sonos Controller

Hi,

Me and my family use Spotify, always. However we do not appreciate the same music all the time, hence our playlists looks different from one another. The big problem is that I can only associate one Spotify account with Sonos.

I would like to be able to see my favorite persons (or the Spotify Profiles if you will) listed to the right in the Spotify client. That way I can add all my family members (and other peaople) and then navigate to their published playlists from my Spotify account.

/P

Talking Yes this would be awesome

Just got my system and setup a Last.fm account for my wife. I was hoping/expecting the Sonos app on her phone to use her account and the Sonos app on my phone to use my account. That way if I set a track playing it would register as my preference, and if she set one playing it would count agaisnt hers.

I every household there can be eclectic music tastes, and it would be great to truely personalise each users music selections.

I like Indie rock, my wife likes R&B, my daughter like cheesy pop. Our last.fm profile is going to look pretty mental
