It's not inconceivable. Msft is offering to pay for development of 'showcase' apps.

A large client of ours is currently having an app written for them by Msft.

Rdio support is now available in Phonos version 3.1. Especially for Canadians who have few choices in music services, it turns out.

Default Vote for WP7 app

The android app is great, but it would be very nice to be able to control my Sonuses with my WP7 phone.

Anyway, isn't it about time that some sort of official WP7 app emerged? Not to knock the Phonos app that I just learned about after reading the forums. If Sonos isn't going to make one then the next best thing I can think of to do is support someone who is actually doing it.

I hope that support isn't dropped for Phonos if/when Sonos writes an official app for WP7 or 7.8 or 8 or whatever the current version would be.

Even better, Sonos just buys the Phonos app, and documentation (you are documenting the application aren't you?) and makes it the official Sonos application for WP7. Winners all around!

Post Wp8

If I had to make a completely uneducated guess....I'd say they might be waiting for WP8.

I truly hope SONOS is working on a Windows Mobile version. I switched from iOS to Windows Mobile and will not be switching back. I'm picking up a Nokia 920 when it's released and would be really disappointed if a WM app wasn't in the works. It's the only app I truly miss from iOS.

Bryan I'm pretty sure you don't mean "Windows Mobile", right? That OS is dead and buried. But for Windows Phone, yeah it would be nice. In the meantime...

There are 3 unofficial apps available, have you tried them? At least two of the authors are on this forum and I for one would welcome any feedback

Default Windows Phone 8 App

I would like to see this app arrive on Windows Phone 8 soon.

First purchased the CR100, then the CR200 now they are dropping the controllers all together so I expect the app to be available on all major mobile platforms.
