Default Multiple Pandora accounts

My wife and my have pretty different taste in music and that's why we have separate Pandora accounts. Unfortunately, we can only set up one Pandora account in Sonos. We would love to be able to have multiple Pandora accounts in Sonos, so we don't have to edit the existing account if either of us wants to switch to their Pandora music.

Should there be a way to accomplish this, then I'd love to hear it.

Default I agree

I just want to give this a bump. My fiancee likes a lot of boy bands.... Needless to say I'd like to keep our accounts separate. I can't think of any reason not to be able to do that. Any update on this Sonos?

Unfortunately Sonos rarely comments on upcoming features. They decline to publish product development plans. Features tend to arrive out of the blue.

+ an absurdly large number.

I'm a CI and this is the first question I have to answer with a hard NO after every Sonos install.

I can't see any reason this would be hard to implement or expensive for Sonos.

Default Need this feature

I need this feature. I'm wondering if I can virtualize the sonos application on my PC so that I can have two instances of it. Anybody know if I can have two instances of the application (on my PC) addressing the same Sonos system? One instance for my wife's (not so interesting 'chill electronica' music) and one for me who likes music with things like guitars and actual drums?

Welcome to the forum.

Your Sonos ZonePlayers and your Controllers form a system, identified by your Household ID. It is the system that is limited (for now) to one Pandora account. No amount of virtualization can change that.

The Controller just tells the ZonePlayers what to do. In and of themselves, the Controllers do not access Pandora. Your login credentials are stored in the ZonePlayer.
