I just had all my CDs ripped to a NAS. I can access my NAS from my main PC (WinXP laptop) and Sonos has indexed the music on the NAS. However, I can't seem to play the songs on Sonos b/c of the error msg: "Unable to play [song name]...access to //NAS/[folder name] denied" (my NAS is called "NAS" and the names in brackets are illustrative).
Any thoughts? |

Is the NAS share password protected ?
Can you set a password for this share ? If so : 1 Reboot the NAS 2 Setup a password (e.g.SonosShare) 3 Delete the reference to the existing share in the Sonos Desktop Controller 4 Restart Sonos Desktop Controller and input the share again - this time with the password (e.g. SonosShare) 5. Wait till the re-index has been done |
