Thanks!
I found this thread just a little later, as it was more general and I had some very particular things in mind from my first weeks with Sonos when starting to post.

Default More info for ID3 tags?

Another feature that in my humble opinion that is ripe for expansion is the Info feature within the Controller.

Clicking Info currently shows you very little and seems to go round in circles showing

Would be nice to be able to see the year of the track, filetype such as .mp3/Flac, the bit rate it is being streamed at or even the filesize for example.

Just a thought...

Default Need more library metadata or be able to choose

Love sonos. The library interface is lacking though, compared to other music players. Not enough metadata to choose from for finding my music. Since you have a memory limit, a simple software enhancement would be to allow the user to select the metadata tags they want to import, up to a limit. Currently, you have about 5 - artist, album, composer, genre, track. So, as an example, if you let me choose the 5, I would add year instead of composer. This would enable me to quickly find newly downloaded music. Thx.

Default ID3V2.4 is state of the art...

....soon it will be 3 years since I started this thread... It's about time Sonos let us show the tag information we so painstakingly gather over the years. Being anal retentive is extra hard when ignored for years

I have a lot of classical stuff in my collection and not being able to see "composer" when pressing the info button is really bugging me. Please sonos. !
