Not updating iTunes Library
Updating my iTunesfiles to Sonos, some 100 maps do not appear in the folder view of Sonos. For example, all folders between "Lovin' Spoonful" and "Mercy Clayton" are excluded. Yet, all folders are definitively in the same map (iTunesMusic). The same problem occurs on my desktop ànd on my laptop. When using music services (Windows Media Player 11) everything is normal: all folders appear in the folder view in Sonos. Odd detail: When changing the tag in iTunes of a map that doesn't appear in Sonos, when updating Sonos the map is corrrectly updated and appears in the folder view, but then, another folder is missing in Sonos. I have some 12,000 tracks in iTunes, far beyond the limit of 65,000. Why doesn't Sonos update all my iTunes-folders, though all folders are in the same map iTunesMusic ?? When updating my Sonos twice (without changing anything in iTunes) I get different results in Sonos: some folders that the first time appear in the folder view of Sonos, are missing the
second time (and vice versa). As I said, with Windows Media Player 11 and the music services in Sonos, there are no problems: all Windows Media Player maps are correctly imported in Sonos; no folder or track is missing.
Then I made a new iTunesLibrary (I splitted my iTunesLibrary in 2 libraries, one with classical music, the other with all other music. In this case, no problem: Both iTunesLibraries are updated in Sonos and all folders appear in the folder view.
My question: Is there a limit to the number of iTunes-files in one library Sonos can handle ? Is it normal I have to make 2 iTunes libraries ?
Thanks.
