I'm planning on adding a delay for the play attempt as well, since I sometimes comes in range of the WiFi but not enough to actually successfully trigger the players.
I'm also gonna add a "cancel" action on the notification, so that it it easy to revert the trigger if it was a bad timing to start them. |

Hey
I would like some help with this. I´m trying to implement this script with tasker on my Samsung Galaxy Xcover, but with no success. Nothing happens when I press the "test"-button in Tasker. ---TASKER--- Profile: Sonos Auto State: WiFi Home-network Connected Task: Run Script Kind regard Niclas |

I don't have any real knowledge about Tasker, but if the builtin http-methods doesn't cut it, you can probably write a plugin for it. Another route would be to run some sort of server-software on a device on your network. One suggestion is something that can run node.js since I built a simple http-api around it (but basically it can be written in any language): http://forums.sonos.com/showthread.php?t=33834 My node.js version would run fine on a raspberry pi (I've tested it myself) for example. |

But should not the script you wrote run because tasker supports javascripts!?

Although it is javascript, Tasker doesn't inplement the same API that on{x} does.

Okey,
So Im stuck then... Btw, I would gladly pay for an app that can work with Tasker and play a specific file or radio on Sonos. Is this something you jishi can do without breaking a sweat? We could continue this discussion in Swedish on mail, if you wish. |
