I recently got my CONNECT:AMP and decided to place it vertical on a wall.
Vertical it takes least space and is least visible. There are third party solutions for wall mounting on the market, but only for horizontal placements. This makes sense, since vertical placements requires some little changes to e.g. the bottom of the CONNECT:AMP. I did it by myself by drilling little wholes into the system and constructing a nice wall holder. But perhaps with SONOS's next generation there could be an option out of the box for folks without a hardware workshop. Thanks for considering .... |

Don't hold your breath...I suggested way back in 2009 that Sonos think about moulding 'keyhole slots' in at least two of the four 'feet' so it could be wall mounted easily.
Here we are in 2012 and still no further forward. Great idea though...I originally wanted to wall mount mine mainly to save space & make a neat & tidy installation but also to hide it away as the ZP90 was white and the rest of my gear was black! -=Glyn=- Last edited by GlynH; Jun 10th, 2012 at 09:14 AM. |

Watch out for any signs of overheating. The Connect:Amp's convective air cooling is clearly going to be compromised by mounting it on its side.
