Welcome to the forums.
On a point of terminology, you don't "download" a music library to Sonos. When you add music to Sonos it reads the files and indexes the contents, but it still requires access to those files whenever you want to play music. What kind of computer is storing your iTunes library: PC/Mac? What operating system? How does that computer connect to your network: wired/WiFi? What security software is the computer running? Which Sonos controller are you using to add the iTunes library? Lastly what Sonos components do you have and how are they connected? |

Connecting the music library to the Sonos network via WiFi is not officially supported. Use of WiFi for streaming tends to negate the benefits of Sonos' own wireless and can increase the risk of conflicts.
That said, it's quite likely to work if you go to your router config and fix your WiFi on a different channel to Sonos. Restrict your chioce to only 1, 6 or 11 and avoid any '40MHz', 'wide' or 'up to 270/300Mbps' options. See the FAQ for details on how to deal with any Norton-related problems. |
