I was disappointed that the recent software update did not include the ability to build a "Pandora" like station within Spotify. Spotify's includes this feature as part of its normal software download and enables the listener to take advantage of Spotify's extremely large music library.

I would like to see this included as part of the sonos system.

If you follow danielschell's instructions here: http://forums.sonos.com/showthread.php?t=28600 and install JamCast, then you can get this functionality by allowing you to stream Spotify to Sonos from the Spotify interface. And you can edit your Spotify playlists at the same time!

You'll need a JamCast licence (30USD), but there's a 14-day trial to allow you to test it first. I found it very easy to set up, and can now wirelessly stream any audio content from my PC (e.g. Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, BBC iPlayer) straight to Sonos.

I think daniel deserves a small medal for working this out!

Hi,

I think the best addition to the sonos music services would be the services inside spotify. I really love the interaction of for example Soundrop - really, it's to me a much better than spotify radio. Only downside is that i can't listen to soundrop with sonos.

Anyone agree with me that these would really add up the value of the system?

Right now I'm using Airfoil as a workaround to stream Spotify Radio to Sonos via Airplay, but it's not an ideal solution because I still need to setup the playlist in my Mac's Spotify application, rather than while walking around on my iPhone.
