Default Home automation and SONOS

Hi!

I'm a recent user of a Sonos Play5 and I work programming systems on home automation environments.

Do you know if there are some information available about controling a zoneplayer?
My goal is to integrate controls such as play pause vol up and down on a home automation system.

Thank you so much

Sonos players use standard UpNP for control, and the rest is interaction between Sonos and various music services. See this thread for programming examples:

Wow! super fast answer!

I will take a look to the links you posted, and will see if the home automation systems will support it because I don't know at the moment. Mainly I communicate with the devices through UDP messages.

Thank you so much

Regards!

Exclamation

I control my Sonos via scripts in the ip symcon Home Automation Software.

Works great via Logitech Harmony an IR Trans as well.

Works really well....I know I'm biased but its really easy to create playlists etc..., just finishing the TuneIn radio plugin

Theres lots out there. I have a Micasaverde Vera lite. I'm focusing on other things but will eventually get around to the Yale keypad unlocking the door, dis arming the alarm, ramping up the lights, and audible greeting ( via Sonos). Tell us how it goes!
