I've recently bought a Play: 3 and installed it in the kitchen to replace a Play: 5, which has found its way to our bedroom. The Play: 3 drops off the network at least once a day. I add it back using "add a SONOS component" and it works for a while before dropping off again.
The Play: 3 is in exactly the same position in the kitchen as the Play: 5, which we never had any problem with. What is the problem, and should I be doing anything else? |

Check your network.
Maybe it creates double IPs. Maybe a neighbour disturbing your WLAN channels. Use Program INSSIDER to find out. If you want do an easy check: Switch off modem, router, pcs and SONOS-devices (put them off power). After this just restart your whole network in the sequence modem router pc bridge all other SONOS equipment Just wait after every step one minute to get the device started correctly. |

Thanks for your help. Inssider doesn't seem to show any conflicts, and I've switched off all my equipment in the order you suggested, and switched it back on again. So far so good, but I will post again tomorrow to let you know if things are still good.

It's still remembered the kitchen today, so (cross fingers) switching everything off and on in order seems to have done the trick. Thanks again.
