In a couple of the rooms I have zone players, I have a tv hooked up to the zone player, and then the zone player hooked up to the speakers in the room. This is a pretty good setup, except for the fact that if I want to watch TV, I need to find a controller and change the zone player to "line-in"
wouldn't it be great that if no music is going to a zone player and it is receiving input from the line-in, that it would just automatically switch over? |

hi dracket,
i hope that a function like this will be added soon. I have zone players in a couple of rooms, where we use 90% TV, and there it would be cool if the input is standard option. |

Wouldn't the buffering delay affect the TV lip sync?

US TV has long forgotten lip sync. It is horrible.

In my experience, the SONOS Line-in delay is constructive, but usually not enough to cancel the cable box picture delay. Even of the cable system delay could be exactly canceled (this can be done with most home theater receivers), the delay can vary from program to program, minute to minute.
Initially, I thought that the SONOS delay would be a show stopper, but it turned out to be a non issue. |
